Foundations of NDM® spans April 3 – July 24, 2025, with Advanced NDM® scheduled to begin in October 2025. The Foundations level comprises of sixteen weeks of online learning along with ninety-minute Zoom discussions on Thursdays, time TBD. We also encourage you to attend the two in-person weekends in Denver, CO, January 16-20, and April 10-14, 2025.
Upon completing Foundations, graduates will be prepared to work with individuals dealing with mild to moderate learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, coordination issues, and sensory concerns. This includes settings like preschools, schools, movement classes, parent groups, and private sessions. Graduates will receive a certificate enabling them to utilize these skills professionally.
The Advanced NDM® training represents full certification, equipping graduates with advanced training to work with a broader range of clients. This includes stroke survivors, traumatized individuals, those with cerebral palsy or spectrum disorders, and individuals with severe behavioral issues. Advanced graduates will be authorized to work with the full spectrum of neurodevelopmentally-impaired individuals.
Foundations of NDM® is a prerequisite for the Advanced NDM® training.
Training Overview: The training offers two levels, meticulously crafted to provide an immersive exploration of Neurodevelopmental Movement® theory, practice, and application, each leading to a Certification.
Level 1: Foundations Course
- Dates: January 2, 2025 through April 24, 2025
- Location: Online and Denver, CO
- Curriculum:
- Introduction to Neurodevelopmental Movement® principles and historical context
- Understanding developmental milestones and fundamental movement patterns
- Hands-on experiential learning and practice sessions
- Real-world case studies and practical applications
- Final certification examination
Level 2: Advanced Course
- Dates: October 2025 through July 2026
- Location: Online and Denver, CO
- Prerequisite: Foundations of NDM®
- Curriculum:
- Advanced Neurodevelopmental Movement® techniques and interventions
- In-depth exploration of movement variations and personalized adaptations
- Integration with complementary therapeutic modalities
- Practical workshops, case studies, and advanced practice sessions
- Final certification examination
