NDM® Fee Schedule and Value

NDM® Fee Schedule

Our initial Functional NeuroDevelopmental Consultation for children or adults with behavioral, learning, or developmental differences, strokes, brain injuries, and trauma will take about 3 hours. In some rare cases we work up to 4 hours and will discuss this before the assessment.

During this time, you will:

Share your history and discuss current concerns, go through the assessment process, receive an

orientation to our material, discuss findings, and be trained in an individualized set of activities

that will be the body of your program plan. Re-assessments of approximately 2 hours will be scheduled every 2-3 months. Clients we see on Zoom will be given specific guidelines for working on that platform.

It is our goal to work as a team with other educators or care providers involved in your/your child’s life. We are happy to discuss the best ways to help and support you with your team.

NDM® Value for Your Investment in Your Family Member

There is a wide range of services available for children and adults struggling with learning, behavior, developmental, psychological, and physical challenges.  You have a lot to choose from and of course the efficacy of the work will be your first concern.

But coming right on the heels of that is the cost and time involved:  How much will it cost per year?  How many years does it take to see meaningful change?  How much time will it take weekly?  Daily?

We would like to offer this brief overview comparing NeuroDevelopmental Movement® programs to typical offerings.

Brain Balance is offered in-office 3 times a week.  It addresses the imbalances or weaknesses in certain areas of the brain through cortical stimulation, academic tutoring, and diet.  The cost of a 6-month program is $12,000.  Many children have to go back to do the program more than once, raising the cost considerably.

Brain Highways (originally derived from the basic entry level NDM® programs) offers a premium program (the closest to an NDM® assessment) for $945 for 11 weeks.  The average annual cost is $2,085.

Sylvan Learning Centers focus on providing educational support and tutoring services.  They work on compensatory skills in reading, writing, and math, rather than brain organization.  They meet with your child 2 – 3 times a week. The annual cost for Sylvan programs is approximately $12,740.

ABA Therapy is an intensive behavior program that addresses presenting behaviors with a constant accountability to the therapists who provide rewards and consequences to guide the child (primarily children with autism) to more socially acceptable behavior.  They do not address the neurodevelopmental roots of the challenging behaviors.  ABA programs cost about $124,800 a year and require 2 – 4 hours a day for 2 to 3 years.

NeuroDevelopmental Movement® focuses on solutions, not compensations, assesses the source in the central nervous system and develops unique programs for each child.  Parents are fully involved in executing the program on a daily basis and are educated in their child’s neurodevelopmental status.  Programs change after a quarterly assessment.

Initial assessments are 3 hours and include a 30-minute follow up two weeks later and support as needed through the quarter until the next assessment.  Initial assessment fee is $900.  Reassessment fee (approximately 3 during the first year) is $425.  All clients receive personalized support throughout the process.  Annual average cost is $2,100.  Children without major neurological trauma can often graduate in 2 years or less.  More complex trauma will take 3 years or more.  Please see the testimonials section of our website to get a sense of the profound changes that our clients experience.
